For the best experience, we recommend exporting non-unified scans into a in single file in E57 format. The following steps shows you how to do so:
Create a new project in Recap and import scans that have not been merged previously. See the other articles in the Best scan export practices to see how to do this depending on the source software. You can verify this by checking that there are several setups under the "Scan Locations" section in the Project Navigator.
Work with the scans in Recap as usual, for example by deleting unwanted points.
When done, click on the Export button.
On the "Select file name for export" dialog, choose "E57 (*.e57)" for the "Save as type".
When the export has finished, go to the Scans page in Imerso to upload your newly created E57 file.
