Recommended system hardware (specs) requirements for Imerso are:
Processor | Intel Core i5 from 2020 or AMD Ryzen 5 from 2020, or Apple M1 (or better). |
Graphics Card - GPU (Windows only) | A dedicated, high performance graphics card (GPU) with OpenGL version 3.3 support or better. Preferably NVidia GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 or Intel Arc A5 (or better). |
RAM | 16 GB RAM, preferably more. |
Internet connection | Broadband connection of 50mbps download speed, at least. |
Operating System | Microsoft Windows 10 or 11; macOS Big Sur (11) or later. |
Mouse | Wheel mouse or similar functionality. |
💡 While it's possible to use Imerso with less powerful systems it may affect the experience.
How to find your computer's specs
Windows:
Search for the app "Task manager". Once inside switch to the Performance section. There you can take note of the CPU name, the amount of Memory and the number and names of the GPUs listed (If you have a Windows laptop you should see at least 2. Follow these steps to make sure you're using the dedicated GPU with Imerso).
Mac:
Open the Mac menu and select "About this Mac". There you should see the processor ("Chip"), the memory and the macOS version.
