Imerso Capture operates at its best when paired with an iPad with these recommended specifications:
Storage: At Least 64GB
Given the size of point cloud data, we recommend a minimum of 64GB of storage on your iPad. This provides ample space for storing several scans. If you require scanning more than 2000 m2 per session, consider even more storage.
RAM: At Least 4GB
In order to show several scans in the viewer it is recommended to have an iPad with at least 4GB of RAM. This ensures a smooth experience while aligning and connecting scans within the application.
Operating system: iPadOS 26 or newer
Imerso leverages the latest features and enhancements provided by iOS for optimal performance. Ensure that your iPad is running iPadOS 26 or a newer version to take advantage of the latest improvements and compatibility with Imerso Capture.
💡 iPads that cannot be updated to iPadOS 26 are not supported by Imerso Capture. You will not find Imerso's app in the App Store.
Recommended Device: iPad Pro (from 2020 onwards)
While Imerso Capture is compatible with various iPad models, any iPad Pro from 2020 onwards would be ideally suited for optimal performance. These models are equipped with powerful processors and advanced hardware capabilities, providing the computational resources necessary for a smooth experience.
